Policies and Guidelines

For the mycert-list:

• Membership is open to all but must be approved by the owner of list "mycert-list".
• Only subscribers will be able to send or receive postings from this list.
• The list is moderated. All posted messages are available to all list members.
• The list is dedicated to discussions on the topics of ICT Security only.
• Members are encouraged to keep postings brief.
• When replying to postings, please include the original posting but only include the relevant parts of the message.
• Use of the mailing list to post messages that are not related to computer security is strictly prohibited.
• Advertising of products and services or posting of junk mail messages (spamming) is strictly prohibited.
• Any abuse which results to loss of MyCERT resources will result in revocation of membership to the mailing list and provide further legal actions taken.

For the announcement-list:

• Membership is open to all but must be approved by the owner of list "announcement-list".
• This is one way medium. If the subscriber want to reply, the mail will be send to the moderator[at]mycert.org.my
• To unsubcribe this list, please send your email to moderator [at] mycert.org.my with content: unsubscribe announcement
• The list is dedicated any annoucement on the topics of ICT Security only.

MyCERT Statement of Integrity and Privacy:

• The mailing list service is provided free of charge by MyCERT.
• We are committed to providing quality services to our members since they are our most important assest.
• We will never sell or exchange users' profiles (i.e. names, email addresses) to any party, without explicit permission of the user.
• This service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
