MD5 Search

Description

MD5 Search is a freeware tool that able to perform search of files based on MD5 sum. An MD5 sum (or Message Digest 5 checksum) is a 16-byte (128-bits) Hexadecimal number (written as 32 characters using the digits 0-9 and A-F or a-f). Example of MD5 is d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e.

This Windows based tools allows user to paste the MD5 sum, perform search, and if the search is successful, the filename together with location of the file will appear. This tool is useful when users do not know the filename and location of a file that they have but they have the MD5 sum.
